The Program & Speaker Manager (gn) leads the development and execution of Berlin Global Dialogue events during the year from a program perspective.
To further strengthen our Berlin Global Dialogue team, we are looking for a Program & Speaker Manager (gn) to lead the development and execution of Berlin Global Dialogue events during the year from a program perspective. You will also play an integral part in our program team in supporting the program development of the annual summit and year-around speaker outreach and engagement.
How you will make a difference
- Lead the development and execution of Berlin Global Dialogue events during the year from a program perspective, working closely with the partnership and events team.
- Identify and secure high-level speakers from the private and public sector for the annual Berlin Global Dialogue summit as well as other Berlin Global Dialogue events.
- Create speaker and moderator briefings, coordinate logistics, and ensure effective communication with speakers and moderators throughout the process.
- Drive the development of sessions for the annual summit by conducting research, identifying key areas of debate, consulting relevant stakeholders, and writing concise session outlines.
- Prepare policy briefings and talking points for the Chairman and the Managing Directors as needed.
You are qualified for this position because you
- Have a bachelor’s degree or higher and relevant working experience in international relations, economics, or public policy.
- Have an excellent understanding of international politics, decision-making processes, and relevant stakeholders.
- Are able to dive into a range of different topics, identify key areas of debates, and summarize core arguments in a concise manner.
- Have demonstrated experience working with high-level stakeholders and partners.
- Strong writing skills in English and German and ability to produce high-quality policy papers.
- Are highly organized, detail-oriented and able to drive projects independently.
- Have a keen interest in working at the intersection of politics, business, and academia.
- Can thrive in a dynamic environment and to adapt to changing priorities.
